“It all begins with an idea, an image of perfection. But in the end students have learned that five more minutes will make the difference between success, and a disaster. The difference between idea and achieved perfection. Too quick and the paint will run, too slow and the project would not meet the deadline. If they were given five more minutes to go back they would not go back to fix the mistakes, but to go back and enjoy working on what they thought was just an “old” farm tractor.”
